Alice "Brenda" Gunther, age 74, of Cohasset, MN passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 30, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Brenda was born in 1950 to Alvin and Harriet Cohee in Casper, WY. She attended school in Brighton, MA. On January 30, 1971, Brenda and Gary Gunther were united in marriage. They lived in Quincy, MA for over 30 years until their retirement in 2006 and they moved to Cohasset, MN.

Brenda loved knitting, sewing, hunting, fishing, reading, taking trips back east to see family and friends, and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She was an accomplished gardener with beautiful flower beds. Brenda was a member of St. Augustine's Church in Cohasset and made many friends through her involvement there.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 54 years, Gary; sons, MAJ (Ret) Mark (Rachel) Gunther of Exton, PA, LTC David (Kristine) Gunther of Holland, PA; and grandchildren, Emerson, Michael, Mark, and Matthew. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 10am at St. Augustine's Catholic Church, Cohasset, MN followed by the 11am Mass of Christian Burial. Fr. Jerry Weiss will officiate.
