Antonnette "Toni" J. Erickson, age 95, of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, passed away Monday, May 22, 2023, at her home.

Toni was born in 1928 in South Saint Paul, Minnesota, to Anthony and Anastasia Kaczor. She moved to Bigfork as a young child and graduated from Deer River High School. Toni met her husband, August, at the general store in Deer River and they were married on May 29, 1948, in Deer River. They settled in Grand Rapids where Toni and Augie raised their family of five children and she kept the books for Augie's business. Toni was a Cub Scout leader and skilled at knitting, crocheting, sewing, and cooking (even if she didn't believe it!). She enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, cross country skiing, walking, four wheeling, visiting with relatives, and agate hunting. Taking bus trips with Augie to Branson, Missouri, and Winnipeg, Canada, were highlights in their retirement. Toni can be remembered for her selflessness, concern for others, and prayerful nature.

She is preceded in death by her husband, August Erickson in 2010; parents; and siblings, Leona Kruk, Albert Kaczor, Chester Kaczor, Edwin Kaczor, Dolores Landey, Bennie Kaczor, Joanette Serfling and Darlene DeLaine. She is survived by her children, Georgeana (Mike) Bunnell, Edwin (Cindy) Erickson, Wendy (Steven) Wortman, Kevin (Diane) Erickson, and Vicki (William) Lessard; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at 10 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Father Blake Rozier will officiate. Burial will be at Itasca-Calvary Cemetery, Grand Rapids.
