Arlis Joy Baker, age 88, of Cook, MN, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Bigfork Valley Nursing Home in Bigfork, MN.
Arlis was born in 1938 to Clayton and Viola Moyer in Verndale, MN, where she attended school. She married Raymond Baker and moved to Bloomington, MN and together they raised their two sons, and she worked as a secretary at Oxboro Evangelical Free Church for several years. After Raymond’s passing, she moved to Hibbing in 1999 where she married Carlin Hahn. Arlis and Carlin parted ways, with Carlin remaining in Hibbing and Arlis moving to Cook to be near her son, Gene.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; and brothers, Leslie James and Lanny Moyer, who she was incredibly close to.
She is survived by her sons, Duane Baker, and Gene (Jemma) Baker; sister-in-law, Darlene Moyer; grandchildren, Clayton (Gagan), Ethan, Ian; nieces, Gretchen and Annelle; and many close cousins and family members.
