Beverly J. Mansfield, age 91, of Cohasset, MN passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.

Beverly Jean Mullinex was born May 3, 1933, the first child of Myrtle Belle (Miller) and Harold Creed Mullinex in the small town of Pequot Lakes, Minnesota. Her family lived in the Pequot Lakes area on a small farm for the first 19 years of her life.  Beverly attended Corey Brook country school through 8th grade. In 1952, Beverly's family moved to Grand Rapids, Minnesota.

On March 6, 1954, Beverly was united in marriage to Richard Mansfield.  They were able to celebrate 27 years of marriage and together raised five precious babies, Sandy, Richard "Dick", Tom, Debra, and Marcia.  Beverly and Richard lived on a hobby farm most of their married life.   Beverly worked as a waitress at Mickey's Café' in Grand Rapids and at the Palm Garden in Bovey for many years.  She is remembered for her warm hospitality, delicious meals, and sweet personality.  Beverly loved gardening, cooking, crocheting, embroidering, sewing, and was an avid reader.  She touched the lives of many children in addition to family.  Beverly will be deeply missed by all.

Beverly was preceded in death by husband, Richard Mansfield; parents; grandson, Kenneth Williams; sister, Arlys Burns; brothers-in-law, Sindal Burns; David Hron, Larry Hoard, and Jack Adams; nephews, Paul Mattson, Dennis Adams, Steven Potasnak, Kevin and Greg Adams; and son-in-law, David Kirkes.

She is survived by her five children, Sandra (Garfield) Klev of Cohasset, Richard "Dick" Mansfield of Pengilly, Tom (Lynn) Mansfield of McEwen, TN, Debra (Frank) Knowles of Camp Verde, AZ, and Marcia Kirkes of Clearwater, MN; sisters, Bea Hron of Grand Rapids and Sharon Conley of Nashwauk; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Rowe Funeral Home Grand Rapids, MN with visitation beginning at 10 AM.  Pastor Steve Weston will officiate the service.  Interment will be at Wildwood Cemetery, Cohasset, Minnesota.
