Beverly Jean Peterson
September 25, 1951 – October 28, 2026
Beverly Jean Peterson passed away on the morning of October 28, 2026, at the age of 75, surrounded by the love of her family. She will be remembered for her strength and independence, and most of all, for the wholehearted love she gave to those closest to her.
For 35 years, Beverly worked as a professional truck driver, traveling across the United States countless times. She built her career in an industry long dominated by men, meeting its demands with courage and determination. Alongside her husband, Paul Andrew Peterson, she proudly earned Landstar’s One-Million-Mile Safe Driving Award. Their shared love of the open road was a meaningful part of the life they built together.
At the heart of Beverly’s life was her family. She raised her son, Scott Campbell, with love and determination, showing him through her own life what it meant to persevere, care for others, and love without condition. She welcomed Scott’s wife, Vanessa, as her own daughter, embracing her with the same warmth and devotion.
Beverly is lovingly remembered by her husband, Paul Andrew Peterson; her son, Scott Campbell, and his wife, Vanessa Campbell; her grandson, Seth Campbell, and his wife, Evyanne; and her great-granddaughter, Emma.
Moments after Beverly’s passing, an extraordinary light illuminated the autumn sky, shining brightly for a few precious moments before fading. To those who witnessed it, the moment felt as though heaven had opened its arms to welcome her home.
Beverly’s wish was for no funeral, viewing, or gathering. Instead, she wanted those who loved her to share their memories of her with friends and loved ones and hold those memories close to their hearts.
Beverly’s love will remain with her family in the memories they share and the lives she helped shape. The autumn leaves may fall, but a mother’s love never fades.
Until we meet again, Beverly.
