Beverly A. Stanley, age 90, of Grand Rapids passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021, at Oak Hills Assisted Living, Grand Rapids.

Beverly was born in 1931 in Park Rapids, MN to Adrian and Ethel Funnell and graduated from Grand Rapids High School. On March 4, 1950, Beverly and Glen Stanley were united in marriage at the Community Presbyterian Church in Grand Rapids. She worked for Blandin Forestry, Newt's Café, and later USPS as a postal carrier.

Beverly was a member of the Community Presbyterian Church and the Order of Eastern Star. She loved the outdoors. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glen; and sister, Darlene DeGuiseppi.

She is survived by her sons, Tom "Chipper" (Ann) Stanley of Grand Rapids, Kurt (Sharon) Stanley of Grand Rapids, Gregg (Barb) Stanley of St. Cloud, Tim (Trish) Stanley of Grand Rapids; brother, Doug (Nancy) Funnell of Grand Rapids; 10 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be Friday, November 12, 2021, at 9:00 AM at Community Presbyterian Church, Grand Rapids followed by the 10:00 AM memorial service. Mary Shideler will officiate. Burial will be at Itasca-Calvary Cemetery, Grand Rapids. During this time of COVID 19, the Stanley family requests that wearing face masks is mandatory at the service.  Should you have any symptom of the virus, please refrain from attending and extend a greeting by mail or telephone.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Community Presbyterian Church, North Central Second Harvest Food Bank, Essentia Health Itasca Hospice, or donor's choice.
