Bonnie Mishow, age 75 of Grand Rapids, died August 26, 2024 at The Emeralds in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.

Bonnie Lea Mishow was born February 13, 1949 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, the daughter of Edna Elvira (Brockway) and George Mishow.  Bonnie grew up in Grand Rapids and graduated from high school in 1968.  Bonnie loved school and was never absent; earning a Perfect Attendance Award.  As a young girl, she helped her Uncle George along with her cousins peel bark off of logs.  She also worked as a "Candy Striper" at the hospital.  Then, she worked at the Marlon and Mileage Cafés.  Being a Cook at the Forest Lake School was a job she truly enjoyed and did for many years.  Bonnie can be remembered for berry picking, shopping at thrift stores and yard sales, and watching Westerns and Wheel of Fortune with her neighbor, Sally Belleveau.  She had a quick wit and a great sense of humor.

Bonnie will be deeply missed by her son, Steven Mishow; daughter, Rachel (Matthew) Kalstad; two grandsons, Samuel Burdick and Nathaniel Burdick; step grandson, Jayden Kalstad; one niece and six nephews; her best friend and cousin, Rita Harthan as well as many other cousins, relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Edna; father, George; brother, Jerald Mishow; and sister, Mary Murray.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Rowe Funeral Home, Grand Rapids, MN with visitation beginning at 10 AM.  Interment will follow the service in Itasca Calvary Cemetery, Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
