Brenda Joy Stockwell , age 61, of Grand Rapids, MN,  passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 22, 2023, at her home.

Brenda was born in 1961 to Rodney and Betty Foix in Grand Rapids, MN. She graduated from high school in the same town and married Lonnie Stockwell on June 23, 1989. Brenda attended beautician school in Hibbing and worked at McDonald's for almost 30 years. Her hobbies included crocheting, dancing, and going to the Eagles with friends. Brenda was known for being a caring, loving, honest, and quiet person. She was passionate about her dogs, her family, and traveling to Texas, Missouri, California, and Mexico.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie; parents; sister, Mary Lee; and brother, Rodney Jr. She is survived by her sons, Jeremy Stockwell Sr., and David (Alice) Kilpela; sister, Dianna (Ed) Benes; brother, Doug (Penny) Foix; grandchildren, Jeremy Jr., Rebecca, William, Starr, Leann, and Godwin; great-grandchildren, Solluxander, and Ayra Zaudtke; and dogs, Sugar, and Mindy.

A visitation will be held Monday, May 1, 2023, at 11 AM at Rowe Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM. Burial will be at Harris Cemetery, Grand Rapids, MN.
