Bruce H. LaPlant, age 74 of Marble, Minnesota died on August 2, 2025 at his home.

Bruce Harold LaPlant was born September 17, 1950 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, the son of Marilyn Ruth (Guritz) and Harold Joseph LaPlant.  He attended school in Grand Rapids, followed by earning a certificate in autobody repair. Throughout his adult life, he worked in many auto mechanic and auto body repair shops.

Bruce was quite a character!  He had a quick wit, known for his talk/text fails, and his sense of humor.  Garage sale-ing, attending flea markets and swap meets were fun events for Bruce – he enjoyed bartering and was proud of his treasures.  Bruce enjoyed tinkering – perhaps on an engine, a bicycle, or whatever needed fixing, and did the repair to his standard.

Bruce had strong Christian faith and enjoyed worshiping at Solid Rock Church in Grand Rapids when he could.

He is preceded in death by his eldest son, Troy; his spouse, Jenna LaPlant, and his parents.

Bruce is survived by his children, Karen Reinhard, Adam LaPlant, Tiffany Knudson, Jessica Gunderson, and Rebecca Anderson; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; his brother, Paul (Bonnie) LaPlant; other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date.
