Bruce Wayne Lundquist, age 66, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2025, unexpectedly at his home.

Bruce was born in 1958 to Raymond and Doris Lundquist in Grand Rapids, MN. He grew up in Warba, MN. He was the eldest of four children. Bruce had a talent for drawing at a young age. Later in life he got into painting.

Bruce was employed at Cole's Forest Products right out of high school. Then went onto working beside his brother, Brian, as lumberjacks falling trees, clear cutting land, operating a skidder, being a mechanic, and working on the landing getting many cords of wood to market. Growing up with Polaris snowmobiles, Bruce loved winter and being on his sled going fast. He also loved eagles, wolves, photography, baking, thrift stores; looking for that treasure, garage sales, conversations in general, and he took pride in thanking veterans for their service, that was important to Bruce; he also loved reading and movies.

Bruce had an eye for turning trash into treasure and enjoyed repurposing. Reading was a pastime, and the Bible was a comfort to him.

He is preceded in death by grandparents; Gust and Mayme Lake, and Alfred and Mary Lundquist, father, Raymond Lundquist; and brother, Brian Lundquist.

Bruce is survived by his mother, Doris (Lundquist) Cheney; children, Jackie Lundquist, Heather (Jonathan) Evans, and Cody (Courtney) Lundquist; sister's Carmen (Dean) Galbraith, Carlene Herring; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Triumphant Life Church beginning at 10:00 AM and lasting until the 11:00 AM memorial service. Burial will be at Warba – Feeley Cemetery.
