Carol Ann Dimatteo, age 78, of Grand Rapids, MN passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth, MN.

Carol was born in 1947 in St. Paul, MN.  She graduated from Grand Rapids High School in 1965.  She was employed with International Union of Paper Mill Workers as a secretary and in more recent years she worked as a bartender and waitress at the Forest Lake Restaurant in Grand Rapids, MN.  On January 31, 1980, she was united in marriage to Edward Dimatteo in Las Vegas, NV.  Carol enjoyed old black and white movies, watching western movies, bingo, and especially spending time with family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dean and LaMae Anderson; one brother, Daniel Anderson.

Carol is survived by her husband, Edward; two sons, Dwight Seedorf and Jeffrey Seedorf both of Grand Rapids, MN; two daughters, Jeanne Dimatteo of Trego, WI and Shelle (Matt) Meeks of Grand Rapids, MN; one sister, Katherine "Kay" (Steve) Hauser of Grand Rapids, MN; one sister-in-law, Jean Anderson of Grand Rapids, MN; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Per Carol's request, no services will be held.
