Carol Elaine Roberts, formerly of Grand Rapids, MN, a cherished wife, devoted mother, and beloved grandmother, peacefully passed away at the age of 85 on July 27, 2024, at Madonna Meadows in Rochester, MN, with her daughter by her side.

Born on July 27, 1939, in Erskine, MN, to Alden and Hilma (Hanson) Spray, Carol's life was a testament to love, dedication, and unwavering resilience. After graduating from Thief River Falls High School in 1957 and attending Bemidji State University, Carol moved to Minneapolis and was employed with Remington Rand Univac.

On December 4, 1962, Carol exchanged vows with the love of her life, Earl Roberts, in a quaint ceremony in Crookston, MN. Throughout their union lasting until his death in 2010. Carol and Earl shared a life of service and dedication, residing in various locations due to Earl's ministry work, including memorable stays in Minnesota, Kingsford, MI, and Cohasset.

Carol worked as a teacher's aide in Cohasset, MN. Her passion for art and rubber stamping shone brightly, illuminating the lives of all those fortunate enough to cross her path.

On January 17, 2017, Carol married Stuart Watson. They were married until his death in 2023.

In the quiet moments of reflection, Carol cherished her moments with her family most of all. She leaves behind her daughter, Becky (Mark) Carey of Rochester, MN; her sons, Mark Roberts of Grand Rapids and Paul, (Susan) of Viroqua, WI; seven grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.

In the embrace of eternal peace, Carol reunites with her Heavenly Father, husband Earl, husband Stuart Watson, parents, and her dear brother Al Spray. Her memory will forever remain a beacon of love and resilience in the hearts of all who were privileged to know her.

The family would like to thank River Grand in Grand Rapids, Madonna Meadows and Season's Hospice in Rochester, for the excellent care provided.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 5, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Grand Rapids Alliance Church, Grand Rapids, MN with a Funeral to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Randy B. Junker officiating.

Interment will be at Harris Cemetery, Grand Rapids, MN.
