Carter John Haithcock, age 19, of Goodland, MN, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024.

Carter was born in Hibbing, MN in 2004 to Patricia Black and John Haithcock Jr. He graduated from Nashwauk High School in 2023 and worked at Yanmar. Carter loved his job and spending time with his son, Karson, who was born April 13, 2022. He enjoyed basketball and loved playing football. His passion was helping people who were going through hard times. He was caring, genuine and was such a funny sweet boy who took care of everyone. Carter had a great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh and was always, "Just Chillin."

Carter is preceded in death by his brother, Garrett Johnson; grandparents, Kenneth Allen and Paul Black. He is survived by his parents, Patricia (Dan) Black and John. (Jackie) Haithcock Jr; son, Karson; sisters, Gabrielle Haithcock, Mariah, Breann, Haley, Lilly, and Ana; brothers, John Haithcock III, Khoen, and Kaiden; and many extended family.

Visitation will be held at Nashwauk Alliance Church on Friday, July 12, 2024, beginning at 10:00 AM and lasting until the 11:00 AM memorial service.
