Cary Stephan-Suvanto
Staudahar
d. May 10, 2025
Hibbing
Cary Stephan-Suvanto Staudahar, 28, of Hibbing, MN joined Jesus in heaven on Saturday, May 10th, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Cary was born on August 23rd, 1996, in Hibbing, Minnesota to Tom and Stephanie Staudahar. Cary was an extraordinary person who made every room, and every person in the room, better. His joy, gratitude, and contentedness within every circumstance was infectious, and he made friends with everyone he met through his sincere care for people. His love for the people around him was genuine and deep, and his friendship was like helium— lifting everyone around him up and making everyone feel lighter after talking with him. Cary's loyalty to the Green Bay Packers was only surpassed by his steadfast loyalty to his family, and his love for golf was paired with the enjoyment of the people he got to golf with. Cary was a loyal employee for many years at Super One Foods in Hibbing, MN, bringing smiles to countless customers. Cary loved spending time with family, playing with his nieces and nephews, evening barbecues, making his own jerky and other foods to share, and listening to his brothers' music. He took every chance he could to go on adventures, spend afternoons with his dad, and visit with his neighbors. He was the friend, neighbor, brother, and son we all hope to have.
Cary's legacy and memory will live on with his parents, his brothers, Jeff (Rachel), Tim (Maria), Matt (Lexis), Sam, and Nick, as well as his nieces and nephews. His heavenly welcoming party includes his grandparents, Alvin and Betty Suvanto, and Dan and Pat Staudahar.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held on Friday, May 16th, 2025, at Grand Rapids Evangelical Free Church, Grand Rapids, MN with a visitation beginning at 12 Noon and a memorial service to follow at 1:00 PM. Rev. Micah Labovitch will officiate. Refreshments will be provided after the service to bring people together— just like Cary.
