Charles "Chuck" A. Pfeifer, age 84, of Grand Rapids, MN passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Fairview Range Hospital, Hibbing, MN.

Chuck was born in 1942 in St. Paul, MN to Alois and Mary Pfeifer.  He graduated from Monroe High School in St. Paul, MN.  On May 23, 1964, Chuck was united in marriage to Kathleen "Kathy" Brom in St. Paul, MN.  They made their home in St. Paul, MN prior to moving to the Grand Rapids area in 1976.  He was employed with Northwestern Bell Telephone Company and later Qwest as a telephone technician prior to his retirement in 2002.  He loved watching television and hummingbirds, and enjoyed bowling, putting together plastic models, and hunting, especially bird hunting.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alois and Mary; and his brother, Dennis Pfeifer.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 62 years, Kathy; one daughter, Debbie (Steve) Carlson of Grand Rapids, MN; three sons, Mike (Jill) Pfeifer of Grand Rapids, MN, Mark (Cammie) Pfeifer of Cohasset, MN, and Matt (Kim) Pfeifer of Calumet, MN; brother, Donald (Cindy) Pfeifer; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Per Chuck's request, no services will be held at this time.
