Curtis Robert Swor, age 68, of White Bear Lake, MN passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Essentia Health Hospital – Deer River, MN.

Curtis was born in 1956 to Robert and Lorraine Swor in Duluth, MN.  He was raised in Minneapolis and growing up as a kid he always enjoyed his Grandma Rosie Swor's spaghetti.  Curt graduated from high school in Minneapolis, MN. He worked as a computer technician for Honeywell for many years.   Curt was an active member of Hope Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, MN.  He loved fishing, hiking, playing boards games and cards, traveling, sports, and spending time with his friends.  Curt appreciated life!

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Curt is survived by his sister, Cheryl Baldys of River Falls, WI; one niece, Danielle (John) Goossen of Shakopee, MN; one nephew, Dallas Baldys of River Falls, WI; one great nephew, Riley Goossen; the extended Swor family; his special friends, Gary and Sue Underwood and family, Dan and fishing buddies, and Chester.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Hope Lutheran Church, 5200 Emerson Avenue North, Minneapolis, MN with a gathering of family and friends beginning at 10:00 AM.

A Celebration of Curtis's Life will be held in the Summer of 2026 at Cheryl Baldys Swor's Cabin on Eagle Lake in Cromwell, Minnesota.
