Dane Thomas Hicks, age 35, of Remer, MN, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Essentia Health – St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, MN.

Dane was born in 1989 to Charles Dudley and Carol Hicks in Fargo, ND. He attended school in Fargo/Moorhead area. He enjoyed playing sports, especially football and basketball. He enjoyed gaming with his friends, many he still had from school. He had a one-of-a-kind sense of humor and was always making people laugh. He had just recently moved to Remer for a new adventure in life. Dane was a gentle giant with a heart of gold.

Dane is preceded in death by his grandparents and uncle, Tom Hicks. He is survived by his parents, Charles (Karen) Dudley of Fargo, ND, and Carol (Galen Plath) Hicks of Remer, MN; aunts, Jeanette Ramdell of Fargo, ND, and Jill (Reyes) Walden of Moorhead, MN; and cousins, Amanda Cleary, and Jared Frisco.
