David "Nick" Keith Greniger

David “Nick” Greniger, age 69, of Warba, MN, passed away Monday, October 26, 2026 at Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, MN.

David was born in 1957 to Howard and Alice Greniger in Grand Rapids, MN. He attended Grand Rapids High School and then proudly served in the United States Army. After he was honorably discharged, he worked in construction as a carpenter. David loved to shoot his guns, watch westerns, ride in the side-by-side, and loved to visit with people outside the Warba Motel.

David is preceded in death by his father, Howard; and brother, Paul “Bobe” Greniger. He is survived by his son, Matthew (Brittany) Greniger and their children, daughter, Katie (Donte) Derby and their children; mother, Alice Greniger; brother, Thomas (Vicki) Greniger; sister, Teresa (Bill) Kinnunen; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will held Monday, November 2, 2026 at noon 12:00 PM at Salem Lutheran Brethren Church in Grand Rapids, MN, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Pastor Tony Schmid will officiate. Burial with full military honors will be at Hazelwood Cemetery in Blackberry, MN.
