Debra Jean (Potter) Longtin, preferably known as Debbie, passed away on November 27, 2023, at the age of 68 in Grand Rapids, MN. She was born on August 26, 1955, in Park Rapids, MN, to Delmar and Mary Anne (Rutherford) Potter.

Debbie will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Throughout her life, Debbie enjoyed warm summers, playing good games of cribbage, exploring the sights and sounds of new cities, sipping on a cold can of Diet Coke, and most importantly being surrounded by family and friends alike. May her memory, sharp wit, and calming presence be a source of strength and comfort during this difficult time.

Debbie is survived by her daughters, Jeri (James) Shaughnessy, Jami Potter; and son Jesse Longtin. She is also survived by her sisters, Lucy (Patrick) Coughlin, Billie Olson, and Jacki Potter; her grandchildren, Kassidy (James) Lewis, Lincoln (Arianne) Shaughnessy, Kennedy Hanson, Madden Hanson and Amellya Potter; two great-grandchildren, Kamilla, and Wyatt Lewis; and many nieces and nephews.

Debbie was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Longtin; her parents, Delmar and Mary Anne Potter; her brother Delmar (Butchie) Potter Jr; and her sisters, Sandy Thompson, and Jean Severson. She was also preceded in death by her two sons, Justin and Jefre Longtin; and her granddaughter, Sierra Matthews; and nephew, Michael Thompson.

A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Debbie at the Pengilly Community Center on Monday, December 4, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. There will be a brief message and prayer to begin the celebration at 11:00 AM.
