Dennis Eugene Adkins, age 69, of Grand Rapids, MN passed away Friday, February 28, 2025, at The Emeralds at Grand Rapids.

Dennis was born February 19, 1956, in Grand Rapids, MN to James and Marie (Barten) Adkins.  Dennis grew up in Grand Rapids, attended Grand Rapids Schools and graduated from Grand Rapids High School.

Dennis worked for many years with Environmental Lines. He was fortunate to have had the opportunity to work alongside his brother, as their work took them all over the United States. In later years he was employed with Rajala Timber Company and later Gibbs Wild Rice, both of Deer River, MN. When he wasn't working Dennis enjoyed spending his time gardening and fishing.

Dennis was preceded in death by his long-time partner Patricia Cook; parents James and Marie Adkins; brothers Ron, Johnny, and Roger; sister Irene.

He is survived by his stepson Michael Cook; sisters JoAnn (William) Rancourt, Linda Scepurek, Betty Scepurek; brothers Pete (Jean) Adkins, James Adkins, Ralph Adkins; many nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.

A Celebration of Life is being planned and will be announced when finalized.
