Diane Michelle Schoeberl, 68, passed away after a valiant fight with Glioblastoma Multiforme August 8th, 2025.

Diane was born to Michael and Elizabeth Rooney in Des Moines, Iowa on February 19th, 1957. She attended Bondurant Farrar (1975) where she played basketball and ran track before attending Hawkeye Technical Institute of Technology graduating in 1977 with a degree in Fashion/Textiles. Diane worked for JCPenney for 24 years. She then attended Concordia University to pursue a HR management degree and graduated Summa Cum Lauda (2002) and then went to work for G2 Secure Staff.

Diane married Lynn Schoeberl on September 26th, 1981. They moved to Apple Valley, MN to raise their family.

Diane is survived by her husband Lynn Schoeberl, daughter Meghan Schoeberl and son Ryan Schoeberl. As well as her siblings Dennis Rooney, Doug Rooney and Donna Rooney.

She was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Elizabeth Rooney and sister Denice Fischbach.

Diane's family and friends will remember her as loving, caring, always willing to help, a great leader and extremely hard-working. When Diane was not working, she loved skiing in Colorado, decorating for Christmas, cooking and puzzles. Her favorite place was the lake where she loved pontoon rides and bonfires.
