Dianna Benes , age 73, of Hill City, MN, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at the Mankato Hospital.

Dianna Foix was born in 1950 in Grand Rapids, MN to Rodney and Betty Foix. In 1968, she graduated from Grand Rapids High School and married Edward Benes II on June 15th of the same year. They settled on Ed's family farm and raised their children there. After her children left home, Dianna attended Itasca Community College for nursing school. She worked at various fast-food restaurants throughout her career until her retirement. In her free time, Dianna enjoyed quilting, embroidery, crocheting, cooking, and playing cribbage and kings corner with Ed.

Dianna is preceded in death by her parents; son, Christopher Benes; sisters, Marylee, and Brenda Stockwell; and brother, Rodney Foix Jr. She is survived by her husband, Ed; daughters, Debbie (Charles) Schleh, Jennifer Benes, and Lisa (James) Hedlund; sons, Brad (Julie) Benes, and Joe (Emily) Benes; brother, Doug Foix; 16 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Dianna will be 10:00 am on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Rowe Funeral Home, Grand Rapids with Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 am. Pastor Lisa Jordan, officiating. Burial to follow at Hill Lake Cemetery, Hill City, MN.
