Richard Franklin "Dick" Hilke, age 81, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2025, at his residence following his battle with dementia.

Dick was born April 8, 1944, in Miami, Florida to John Douglas and Helen Marguerite (Parker) Hilke, Sr.  Dick grew up in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, and attended school in Greenway. He moved to the western United States and resided in Wyoming for a time, before returning to Grand Rapids. Dick was a career heavy equipment mechanic, and in his free time he liked to tinker with small engines, lawn mowers, etc. and do mechanical repairs for others.

Dick is survived by his daughter Rebecca Robles and son Michael Hilke; brother John "Doug" (Carolyn) Hilke, Jr. and sister Patricia (Paul) Ritters. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Kathy.

In accordance with his wishes, no formal services are planned.
