Donald Duane Moss, age 85 of Grand Rapids, Minnesota died Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Americare Lodges, Grand Rapids, Minnesota.

Don was born May 17, 1941, in Waubay, South Dakota to Geroge and Bertha (Johnson) Moss.  He graduated from Grand Rapids High School where he was very active as a member of the school baseball team.

Don married Jeannine (Hoglund) Bartick on September 9, 1977, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, where they have resided their entire married life. Don enjoyed a long career as a pipefitter for Local #589, a career that took him throughout Minnesota.

In his retirement, Don enjoyed ice fishing, tinkering in his garage, playing baseball with his great grandson Patrick, vegetable gardening, Wednesday lunch with "the boys", and a good bowl of ice cream! He and Jeannine loved ice fishing in their house on Lake of the Woods and enjoyed many seasons in their camper on Lake Winnie.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Joanne, Karen and Mavis.

Don is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Jeannine; sons Tony (Stacie) Moss of International Falls, MN, Ken (Pam) Moss of Barnesville, MN, Jim Moss of International Falls, MN, and Doug Moss of International Falls, MN; sister Sandy (Merlyn) Noble; his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Don will be laid to rest at Wildwood Cemetery in Cohasset, Minnesota. In accordane with his wishes no formal services are planned.
