Donna Eileen LaMont, age 72, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital in Grand Rapids, MN.

Donna was born in Twentynine Palms, CA in 1951 to Arthur and Edith Douglas. She moved around California due to her dad's mining job and worked various jobs after high school. She met Steve LaMont in Alaska and were later married. In October of 1975 they moved to Grand Rapids. Donna was very family oriented and before her disease, she loved cooking and spending time with family. She will be remembered for her caring and giving nature and being selfless to a fault.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents; son, Wayne; and many siblings. She is survived by her husband, Steve; children, Gary Aubrey, Steven (Becky) LaMont, and Georgia Aubrey; daughter-in-law, Alona Kunnari; 10 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 11am at Harris Cemetery, Grand Rapids, MN with fellowship at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Cohasset, Mn at 12:00.
