Doris Jean Davis, age 84, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Bigfork Valley Communities, Bigfork, Minnesota.

Doris was born July 13, 1939 in Bigfork, Minnesota, the daughter of Eva Fern (Davis) and Herman Guy Adams. On November 30, 1958, Doris was united in marriage to Lyle W. Davis.  Together they raised four children.   Doris was proud to be homemaker and enjoyed baking.  Watching and feeding the hummingbirds, listening to the old country music including Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, and Elvis were some of her favorite pastimes. Doris had a love for animals and did her best to take care of the dogs and cats.

She will be deeply missed by her four children, Gloria (Jim) Carson, Rita Hauck, George (Tina) Davis, and Stanley (Kelli) Davis; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Connie Cardwell, Kaye Funk, Bonnie Rae (Myron) Hennigar; her brother, Archie Adams; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Doris is preceded in death by her husband, Lyle on July 29, 2023; two grandsons, Clifford Davis and Randy Gustafson; her mother, Eva F. Mitchell and step-father, Walter Mitchell; her father, Herman Adams and step-mother, Bonnie Adams; and two brothers, Mike Adams and Bob Adams.

A family service will be held in the Summer of 2024 to honor the lives of Doris and Lyle Davis.
