Edna S. Happy, age 91, of Grand Rapids, MN, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at her home.

Edna was born in 1934 in Lebanon, VA to Lenard and Ada Harris where she grew up and attended school.  On March 3, 1952, she was united in marriage to Albert Happy in Duluth, MN.  They made their home in Schroeder, MN prior to moving to the Grand Rapids Area in 1954.  She enjoyed flowers, gardening, working outside, fishing, camping, playing cards and many games of aggravation.  She loved being a mother, grandma, great grandma, and great-great grandma.  Edna enjoyed entertaining the neighborhood kids while they were growing up.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert; sons, Roger Happy and Ernest Happy; sister, Hatt-lee, Marjie, Lola, Lenora, and Lora Cooper; brothers, Raymond, William; great grandchildren, Whitney Happy, Jake Matthews, and J.J. Stoeke.

Edna is survived by 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM at Rowe Funeral Home, Grand Rapids with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.  Patty Jo Erven will officiate.   Burial will be at Harris Cemetery at a later date.
