It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Emily Elizabeth Smith, on June 16th, 2026, at the age of 27.

She was a beautiful soul whose love, laughter, and music brought light to everyone around her. A devoted mother, daughter, niece, sister, granddaughter, and friend, she had a gift for making people smile. One of the things those who loved her will remember most was her singing. Whether it was a favorite song on the radio or a tune she knew by heart, she sang with joy and shared that joy with everyone around her. Her children especially loved hearing her sing to them, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

She was loving, caring, and fiercely devoted to her family. Her kindness touched countless lives, and her beautiful spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Ethan, Charlotte, and Vivian; her mother, Sarah (Travis); her father, Ara (Shannon); her siblings, Layla, Izabell, Ainsley, and Lilien; her grandparents, Jon and Julie Anderson, Mark and Gail Boller, Michael and Karen Smith; and the love of her life, Andy; as well as many other family members and friends who loved her deeply.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the love she shared and the memories she leaves behind. Her song may have ended too soon, but its melody will remain with us forever.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026, from 3:00-5:00pm at Rowe Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Monday, June 29, 2026, at 1:00 followed by the 2:00pm funeral service. Burial will be at Itasca-Calvary Cemetery, Grand Rapids, MN.
