Gladys "Kaye" Carlson, age 87, of Grand Rapids, MN died Friday, December 20, 2024.

Kaye was born in 1937 in Culver, MN to Asa and Ellen (Zimmer) Spicer. She graduated from Culver High School and later moved to the Grand Rapids area. Kaye and Henry Carlson were united in marriage on July 8, 1961 and together raised their three children. She worked as a nurse's aide at Itasca Memorial Hospital for many years.

Kaye enjoyed gardening and canning, painting, and playing the piano and organ.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry; sons, Michael and Randy; siblings, Gene, John, and Nancy. She is survived by her son, Mark of St. Cloud; grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 1pm at Maple Grove Cemetery, Goodland, MN.
