Helen M. Hilke, age 98, of Cohasset, MN, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Autumn Lane Assisted Living in Cohasset, MN.

Helen was born in 1925 to Franklin and Hortense Parker in Miami, Florida where she grew up and attended school.  On August 10, 1942, she was united in marriage to John Douglas Hilke in Miami, Florida. They moved to Minnesota after her husband was discharged from service. Helen and John worked on the family farm together and raised their children. She enjoyed having coffee with neighbors and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; brothers, Leo Parker and Allison Parker; three sisters, Rowena Holland, Myrtle Lowe, and Lucille Grant. She is survived by her children, Patricia "Pat" (Paul) Ritter of Remer, MN, Richard Hilke of Grand Rapids, MN, and John "Doug" (Carolyn) Hilke Jr. of Brainerd, MN; seven grandchildren, Ronald, David, Michael, Michael, Rebecca, Amber, and Faithie; 23 great-grandchildren, Gunnar, Madeline, Braden, Kristina, Destiny, Jacob, Madison, Noah, McKenna, Gideon, Fiona, Corey, Crystal, Melissa, Christopher, Kayla, Arabella, Caleb, Colin, Madox, Katrina, Dominic, and Zachary; and one great-great-granddaughter, Lauren.
