Jacqueline Vivian Figgins, 61, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away November 28th, 2025, surrounded by family and friends in her home.

She was born on July 12th, 1964, to Jon "Jack" and Shriley Makinen in Springfield, IL.

She married Todd Figgins on August 30th, 1986, and they had two children, Matthew Allen Figgins and Micheal Jon Figgins.

Jackie loved God, her family, and her gardens. She spent countless hours every summer tending to flower gardens, growing vegetables, and made her yard into quite the landscape spectacle! Jackie loved to hunt and fish thanks to the influence of her father. They would spend days on the lake and weekends in the deer stands together. Jackie enjoyed decorating her house and her yard for Christmas. She had pretty much every foot of the yard decorated and used every inch in her house to celebrate the season. She loved putting up her decorations so others could drive by and enjoy them.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Todd; her sons, Matthew (Sarah), and Micheal (Emma); grandchildren, Manny, Foster, Oliver, and Sonja; sister, Sandy (Bret) Wagner; and stepmother, Christella Makinen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Shirley Makinen; her siblings, Debbie and Jimmy.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025 beginning at 10:30 AM at Grace Bible Chapel, Grand Rapids, MN with a memorial service to follow at 12 Noon at the church.  Rev. Matt Boyd will officiate.   Burial will be held at Harris Cemetery, Harris Township, MN at a later date.
