James "Jim" Fredrickson, age 69, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025. He was born on March 17, 1956, to Eugene Fredrickson and Joyce (Draeger) Smith in Moorhead, MN. He grew up in St Paul and attended Harding High School, graduating in 1974. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, sisters Judy Williams and Vicki Wallgren; stepfather, Girard "Smitty" Smith; and brothers-in-law Chuck Wallgren and Larry Brion.

Jim is survived by his mother, Joyce Smith of Grand Rapids MN; brother, John (Deb) Fredrickson of Grand Rapids, MN; sisters, Kathy Lof of Tucson AZ, Mary Brion and Jennifer Wilhelm, both of Grand Rapids, MN, Deb (Jim) Lee of North Branch, MN; numerous nieces and nephews; and his life-long friend, "CueBall".

A celebration of Jim's life will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 1-3pm in the Forest Lake Restaurant Steakhouse, Grand Rapids, MN with a prayer service at 2 pm.
