A Tribute To Mother
Our dearly loved Mother has gone away…
To a peace-filled Heaven for her to stay.
She's been with us long, and is with us still
Though she lies at rest in another world.
Her love for us all was great and strong,
A loving wife, mother and grandmother was her throng
Which she gave in abundance her whole life long.
Family and friend this lady had many,
When troubled times came she was always ready
To do her part for those in need, a great lady our Mother was indeed.
A Tribute to Mother could not compare
To the love and compassion we all have shared
For she was a Mother and Friend who deeply cared.
She never complained in good times or bad
But there were times in her life that must have been sad
A most trusted Mother and Friend anyone ever had.
Her cross had to be heavy, but her crown was light,
For she knew in her heart that this wasn't her fate.
She taught us all love, compassion and caring
For these to our families we all could be sharing.
But her time with us here now is gone,
Though she'll be with us our whole life long,
A Lady Great, A Lady Good, A Lady of Love and a Lady of God.
Mother we love you and always will…
Though your voice is silent we can hear you still.
God made you what you were and to Him you return
To live in His Heaven you so deservingly earned.
Tears for you yes, but regrets for you no
For you've gone to his world where you wanted to go.
Where we'll see you some day when our lives work is sowed…
Then we'll all be together when lives fields are hoe'd.
Rest in comfort and peace dear Mom….
And we'll all be with you in that distant land.
