Jeffrey Benny Stolley, age 69, of Cohasset, MN passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024, surrounded by family at Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital.

Jeff was born in 1955 to Benny and Ruth Stolley in Grand Rapids, MN. He attended local area schools and graduated from Grand Rapids High School. After high school, he enlisted into the US Army, where he served for 2 years, then returned to Grand Rapids after his discharge. Through some mutual friends, Jeff met Tonia, the absolute love of his life. They were united in marriage on September 1, 1979, and they lived a exciting and blessed life together.

Jeff worked as a linesman, setting electric poles across the United States, when time to start his family, he became employed by the Union Local 1097 in the construction field. Jeff also worked at Scooter's Septic Service for 15 years, before returning to the Union and eventually retiring from there.

Jeff's first love was Tonia. The two were inseparable, and together they raised two children, Angie and Ben. Jeff was a great man with a big heart. He was a hard worker that provided for his family, a very wise man who taught his children values, and the love for rock n roll. Jeff would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need, and a fighter, even right to the very end.  Next to Tonia, his greatest love was his grandchildren, whom he adored. Jeff loved everything outdoors, camping, hunting, and fishing. Jeff will be greatly missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his father, Benny; and two pugs, Izzy and Ivan. Jeff is survived by his wife of 44 years, Tonia; mother, Ruth (Richard) Shoemaker; children, Angie (Kevin) Lee and Ben Stolley; sister, Terri (Paul) Lasalle; brothers, Mike (Elaine), John, and Mark (Claudia) Stolley; grandchildren, Scotty, Hunter, Tonia, Jaycie, Conner, Tammy, and A.J.; faithful companions, Toby and Tootsie; and many extended friends and family.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Rowe Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. It will continue Thursday, March 14 beginning at 1:00 PM and lasting until the 2:00 PM memorial service. Rev. Chris Reed will officiate.
