Jeffry "Ollie" Mutchler, age 68, of Goodland MN, passed away Friday, January 9, 2026, at Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, MN.

Jeff was born December 15, 1957, in Grand Rapids, MN to Gerald and Barbara (Harrison) Mutchler. He grew up in Grand Rapids where he was on the football and wrestling team graduating with the Class of 1976, from Grand Rapids High School.  Jeff went on to attend Wadena Technical College.

For over 30 years Jeff was employed with the Ainsworth/Potlatch board plant. He eventually retired from the State of Minnesota as a snowplow operator out of Hibbing, MN. Jeff also offered a helping hand with establishing and operating Mutch's Forestry Service. He enjoyed spending time with his grandsons Jasen and Andrew, hunting, fishing and the outdoors.  In 1998 Jeff married Cheryl (fishing partner), and together they started their life in Goodland, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Gerald and Barbara (Harrison) Mutchler.

Jeff is survived by his wife Cheryl; sons Jake (Melissa), Ben (Jessica), Nathan (Kristen) Kenjalo, Nick (Ashley) Kenjalo; several grandsons; brother Mark (Chris)j; sister Deborah (Stuart); many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends; best friend and faithful companion, his dog Myah.

Memorial services for Jeff are being planned for some time in late spring or early summer and will be announced when details are finalized.
