James A. Kremer, age 93, of Bigfork, MN, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Bigfork Valley Nursing Home, Bigfork, MN. He is the son of Stanley and Anna (Dauffenbach) Kremer.

Jim was born and raised in North Mankato, MN. He served his county in the United States Army during the Korean War. Following his honorable discharge, he went to work for Northwestern Bell, retiring in 1986 after 30 years of service. Jim then moved to Bigfork, MN with his wife and son Kory.

In his early days, Jim enjoyed playing hockey and coaching youth hockey, fishing, hunting and golfing.

Jim is survived by his wife Patricia; two sons Patrick (Traci) of Riverview, FL and Thomas (Rhonda) of Blooming Prairie, MN; five grandchildren Michael, Kaci, Randi, Nicholas, and Danielle; three great grandchildren Dustin, Jayden, and Graham.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and three sons Joseph, Anthony and Kory.

A visitation will be held Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church, Bigfork, MN with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 AM. Father Jeremy Bock will officiate. The rendering of military honors will immediately follow the Mass at church. Private family interment will be held in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Owatonna, MN.
