Jodie Lea Dimatteo, age 58, of Jacobson, MN, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2026 at her home surrounded by family.

Jodie was born in 1968 to Roger and Joyce Rhodes in Grand Rapids, MN. She attended Hill City High School. She was united in marriage to Gene Dimatteo on January 1, 2000 in Jacobson, MN. She worked a variety of jobs throughout her life, but her main focus was her children.

Jodie liked playing pool, four-wheeling, fishing, crocheting, playing cards/cribbage, gardening, going agate picking, and spending time with Finley. She had an incredible memory, especially for people's birthdays and loved winning radio trivia questions. She was so good at radio trivia that she was banned from playing for a time.

Jodie is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Dimatteo; parents; brother, Brian Rhodes; and granddaughter, Ira Lou McCartney. She is survived by her children, Jacey (Tanner) McCartney, and Jordan (Britni) Rhodes; significant other, Norm Koran; stepson, Ben Dimatteo; sister, Julie (Casey Hines) Rhodes; four grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Forestry Station Bar & Grill, Jacobson, MN starting at 3:00pm
