With broken hearts, John Ellis Allison, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at The Pillars in Grand Rapids, MN with his wife and daughter by his side.

John was born in 1934 to Emory and Frances Allison. He graduated from Grand Rapids High School in 1952. John was a proud veteran of the United States Army

He is survived by his wife, Sheila; daughter, Sherri (Adam) Kokkinen of Nashwauk, MN; sons, Troy (Tammy) of Palatka, FL, Allan of West Palm Beach, Fl, and Robert (Paula) of Loxahatchee, FL; sister, Nola (Ron) Surface of Hanford, CA. He will be missed by eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

John was preceded in death by his sister, Grace; and brothers, Raymond, Elden, Neil, and David.

Per John's wishes, no services will be held.

The family would like to thank the staff of The Pillars and the staff of St. Croix Hospice for their loving care.
