Obituary

Judith Marie Findell Klous, age 75, passed at home surrounded by her family early February 1, 2024.

Born December 15, 1948 in Minneapolis, MN to Henry Oscar Findell and Blanche May Paulson. Judy was a member of 4-H and the girls scouts as a young girl, she also had a love of ice skating.

Judy and her family moved to Quamba when she was 12. She attended and graduated from Mora High School in 1966. After high school, she went to beauty school and had numerous jobs in the hair dressing/beauty industry. She met Bob Klous and started hanging out with him in 1967, they were married in McGrath, MN on June 15, 1968.

Bob and Judy lived in Minneapolis, Columbia Heights, Virginia, and then Swan River/Grand Rapids, Minnesota throughout the last 55 years. In that time, they were blessed with six beautiful children. Those kids were Judy's greatest blessing and joy, she was always grateful for her knowledge that families are forever.

Judy was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She raised her family with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Bob and Judy were sealed to each other and to their children for time and all eternity on June 15, 1981 in the Provo, UT temple. Judy had a love for family history and bringing families together again. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and playing games with her grandchildren.

Judy is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bob; her children, Vicki (Glenn) Andersen of Hudson, WI, Kim (Joost) Kuin of France, JJ (Jerry) Sherman of Magna, UT, Andy (Anna) Klous of Grand Rapids, MN, Becki (Ryan) Jones of Grand Rapids, MN, and Danny (Andrea) Klous of Fairmont, MN; along with her 23 beautiful grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her three siblings, Gerald (Mary Jo) Findell, Marilyn (Don) Gordhamer, and Don (Julie) Findell; sister-in-law, Marion Klous. Judy is preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; and numerous incredible aunts and uncles.

Services will be Saturday, February 17, 2024 with a visitation starting at 10:00 AM and the funeral at 11:00 AM. It will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Grand Rapids, MN.
