Judith "Judy" Plumley, age 78, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024, surrounded by family.

Judy was born in 1945 in Grand Rapids, MN and lived here all her life. She was a 1964 graduate from Grand Rapids High School and later attended Itasca Community College. She met her husband, Norm, on a blind date in June of 1963 and were married for 54 years. Norm treated Judy like a queen, and he was her hero. She loved music, sold Home Interiors for 16 years, and was involved for 32 years in Showboat. She was an active member of the Church of the Nazarene. She especially loved her family and grandchildren and anytime she could be with them was a good time.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Norm; parents, Ora and Norma Card; brothers, Arthur and Robert Card; sisters, Francis Remington, Marjorie (Kurt) McKinney, Karen (Larry) Sundsvold, and Mickey (Brian) Kennedy; brothers-in-law, Gary Luoma, George Call; and sisters-in-law, Corrine Card, Karen Card.

She is survived by her son, David (Lucy) Plumley; daughter, Michele (Belton Luter) O'Connell; four grandchildren, Abby, Corbin (Tiana), Quinn, and Jacob; sisters, Dorothy Call, Penny Luoma; brothers, Ron (Barb), Norm "Snook" (Kathy), Larry (Carol), Arney, Keith (Sandy), Dan (Debbie), and Dale Card; sisters-in-law, Yvonne Card, Jan Card; and many many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 10AM the Church of the Nazarene followed by the 11AM memorial service. Rev. Paul Haddix will be officiating. Judy and Norm will be laid to rest at Itasca-Calvary Cemetery, Grand Rapids, MN.
