Judy L. Greniger, age 72, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024, at her daughter's residence, surrounded by family.

Judy was one of eleven children born, to Roman and Florence Sahr, in Grand Rapids, MN in 1952, where she lived all her life. She met the love of her life, Michael, through mutual friends and the pair was united in marriage on May 19, 1970.

Judy was a homemaker, raising her five children. She was a wonderful mom and wife to her family; they are her pride and joy. Judy then began working for Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital as a dietary aide. Judy retired from Grand Itasca after 27 years of dedicated service.  She was always one to have a smile on her face and willing to help anyone in need.

She enjoyed playing softball in her younger years, where she earned the nickname "Wiggles". Judy enjoyed fishing, camping, going to the casino, playing cards and cribbage. She was known as the "Cribbage Queen" by many.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and siblings, Darold and Arlene. Judy is survived by her children, Doug Greniger, Jeff Greniger, Lori Daoust, Teresa Greniger, Jody (Aaron) Hicks; her sweetheart John Larson; and honorary children, David and Dan (Kenzie) Larson; siblings, Betty (Edward) Virnig, Linda Happy, Sandy Prebeck, Joyce (Tony) Benes, Jimmy Sahr, Robert (Becky)Sahr, David Sahr, Pete Sahr; Mother – in- law, Edna Greniger; 23 grandchildren; 11 ¾ great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Rowe Funeral Home, beginning at 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM memorial service.
