Obituary

Judy Rabey, 79, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at the Maple Woods Assisted Living, in Cohasset, MN.

Judy Ann was born April 11, 1945, to Ernest and Dorothy Daniels in Duluth, MN. As a proud graduate of Remer High School, she embraced her educational journey and went on to create a loving home. On October 21, 1961, she united in marriage with her devoted husband, Clayton "Pug" Rabey. Together, they moved west of Cohasset before settling in Grand Rapids, where Judy dedicated herself to raising their family with ample love and warmth.

As her children grew, Judy found fulfillment in her work at Hardees and Bixby's Café. Judy enjoyed knitting and was known for her fabulous cooking and warm hospitality, she brought joy to countless gatherings, leaving a delicious legacy that will be cherished by her family. A devoted Minnesota Vikings fan, Judy's passion for her team matched her enthusiasm for life, always sharing her excitement with those around her.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents.

Judy is survived by her husband of 63 years Clayton "Pug"; daughters: Robin (Brent) Brunetta and Deb (Ron) Hakala; son Greg (Phyllis) Rabey; 6 cherished grandchildren: Andrew, Grant, Amber, Zach, Zeb, and Colton; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers: Roger (Frances) Daniels and Carl (Sharon) Daniels.

Judy's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be remembered not only for her kindness and generosity but also for her unwavering spirit and love for her family.
