Karen "KK" (Card) Sundsvold, age 70, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023 at the U of M hospital in in Minneapolis Minnesota.

Karen was the 13th child born to Ora and Norma Card on June 22, 1952 in Grand Rapids Minnesota. Karen married Larry Sundsvold on June 7th 1969.

Karen worked at Ogles Grocery for many years as a cashier, then started a home daycare to nurture many happy children that had kept in contact with her over the years. She then became a certified pharmacy tech as she was working at the Target pharmacy in Grand Rapids.

Karen is remembered by her smiling face, big heart and love of family. She looked forward to family traditions, such as the Card family Christmas parties, it always made her happy seeing everyone together. Music was a very big part of Karen's life. She shared her talent of music by singing at church, for funerals, weddings and with family. Some of Karen's favorite times were sharing pictures and stories of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is very proud of her three grandchildren following in her footsteps and becoming certified pharmacy technicians. To know her was to love her, she will be greatly missed.

Karen is survived by her sons, Lyle Sundsvold (special friend Brenda Doty) of Grand Rapids, MN and Brian (Billie Jo) Sundsvold of St.Cloud, MN; grandkids, Tiffany (Michael) Hair of Show Low AZ, Amber (special friend Cody Boose) of Show Low AZ, and Ethan Sundsvold of Rochester MN; 3 great grandkids; Morrigan, Vivian & Charli; 10 siblings and many nieces and nephews.

Karen's Memorial Service will be at Rowe Funeral Home in Grand Rapids, Minnesota on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 1:00 pm with visitation beginning at 12 Noon. A Celebration of Karen's Life follow at the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #2023 (330 NE 10th Ave, Grand Rapids, MN 55744) from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Please come with fond memories to share.
