Kathleen Ann Nichols age 74, of Grand Rapids, MN passed away peacefully on April 21, 2024, at Garden Court Chateau.

Kathleen was born in 1949 to Robert and Helen Nichols in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.

She was raised in the local area and attended the local schools. Although disabled, she enjoyed life and made the most out of it. Kathleen worked for a brief time for ODC, however it was going places and meeting people that she enjoyed the most.

She would spend Saturdays with family, having lunch and participating in family board game and card game day. Playing bingo at Garden Court Chateau and going to the Keisler house for game days also filled her days. Kathleen traveled with her friends to various places, including Yellowstone, Dollywood, Branson, and her favorite, Graceland.

She enjoyed all animals, especially cats, and collected all things Elvis, and even took up painting. Kathleen was a very stubborn and independent lady and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Clara; brothers, Donald, Bernie, and Clayton. Kathleen is survived by five brothers, five sisters, and numerous friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Rowe Funeral Home on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.  Burial will be at Harris Cemetery at a later date.
