Kay Glen Pitschka, age 89, passed away Friday, December 5, 2025, at Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital in Grand Rapids, MN.

Kay was born in 1936 in Sauk Rapids, MN. He served in the Army as a special services sniper during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged after being held as a POW. He was an accomplished chef, proudly cooking for Ronald Reagan and at many five-star restaurants. Kay loved the outdoors and also worked as a trapper for the State of Minnesota. He loved his church family at Community Bible Chapel in Cohasset, MN, rarely missing a service.

Kay is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Judith. He is survived by his cousin, Harvey "Tooker" Schultz and many extended family, friends, and church family.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, at 11:00 am at Community Bible Chapel, Cohasset, MN with visitation time to follow.
