Kaylee Laneah
Mozingo
d. Jun 3, 2026
Grand Rapids
Kaylee Laneah Mozingo was born on May 15, 2026, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, to her loving parents, Whitney Sonya Ann (Kemp) Mozingo and Preston Lee Mozingo. On June 3, 2026, our precious baby girl passed away unexpectedly at her home in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
Though her life on earth lasted only a few short weeks, Kaylee filled the hearts of those who loved her with a lifetime of joy. She was tiny, beautiful, and deeply cherished from the very moment she arrived. She brought smiles through sleepy cuddles, soft coos, and the little expressions that quickly became unforgettable memories. In the quiet moments of rocking her to sleep and holding her close, she taught her family that the smallest hands can leave the deepest fingerprints on our hearts.
At not even three weeks old, Kaylee surprised everyone by lifting her head and looking around with wide, curious eyes. It reminded her family of a little turtle peeking out into the world, earning her the sweet nickname, "Turtle". It was a moment that will forever remain one of the many precious memories her family will treasure.
Kaylee is the beloved daughter of Preston and Whitney and a treasured little sister to Tenzlee Mozingo and Kynlee Mozingo. She is loved beyond words by her maternal grandparents, Sarah Nichols and Todd Kemp; her paternal grandmother, Angela Dravland; and by her aunts and uncles, Hannah Kemp, Brayden Nichols, Todd Kemp Jr., Charles Mozingo Jr., Jonathon Mozingo, Stormee Mozingo, Emily Mozingo, and William Mozingo. She is also loved and remembered by many other relatives and family friends whose lives she touched in her brief but meaningful time here.
Waiting to welcome Kaylee into Heaven were those who went before her: her beloved big brother, Braxton Lee Mozingo; her aunt, Savannah Dravland; her great-grandfather, Joseph Young; and her cousin, Charles "Charlie" Mozingo.
As a family, we have always believed that children are a gift from God, and Kaylee is no exception. We thank our Lord and Savior for the precious gift of her life and for the honor of being her parents. Though our time with her was far too short, we will forever be grateful for every moment we were given.
Although our arms ache from missing her, we find comfort in knowing that love does not end here. We hold tightly to the hope of the resurrection and the promise that, through God's grace, we will see her again. We trust that death is not the end of her story, but the beginning of God's promise of life restored.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 15, 2026, at River of Life Church, 707 NW 17th Avenue, Grand Rapids, Minnesota 55744, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Wildwood Cemetery in Cohasset, Minnesota.
We love you endlessly and beyond this life.
Love always,
Mommy and Daddy
