Kenneth L. (Kenny) Warren, 76, of Grand Rapids, MN made his final journey on June 12, 2024, after a four year courageous fight against lung cancer, surrounded by his loved ones.

Kenny was born in Newton Falls, OH to Floyd and Marian Warren. After high school he enlisted in the Navy, serving 6 years and fulfilling his term as an ETR2 Electronic Technician Radar 2nd class. After an honorable discharge, Ken began working for Industrial Nucleonics (later called AccuRay, then ABB). In 1982, Ken began his 20 year career as a Maintenance Specialist at Blandin Paper Company, retiring in 2002.

In 2005, Ken married Jean Seagren and they enjoyed 18 beautiful years together. Through marriage he gained an immediate family and came out of retirement to run a small resort.  He was the best Papa in the world to his 3 grandchildren and loved them with all his heart.  Ken was a founding member of Grouse Woods, Inc. Hunting Camp (1994) where he enjoyed spending time with his best friends Barry and Jim and their families. Ken was an avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, trap shooting, fishing, and snowmobiling. Bird hunting with his hunting dogs was his passion. He was never without an English Setter or a German Short-Haired Pointer that he trained himself. He took many trips to Lake of the Woods and the Kenai Peninsula of Alaska to salmon fish. Ken was very active in his church, St. Andrew's, serving as head usher for many years.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Marian Warren; his 5 brothers Floyd (Ted), Charles, Harlan, Philip, and Calvin; his mother and father-in-law, George and Gerry Martin; brother-in-law Steve Martin; and sister-in-law Pat Berglund. He is survived by his wife, Jean; his beloved English Setter Penny; children, Andra (Steve) Brion, and Carl (Nate Friedley) Seagren; his cherished grandchildren, Addison, Jacob and Taylor; sister-in-law, Beverly Warren (Charles), and many other in-laws.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Pravatas and his staff at the Grand Rapids Cancer and Infusion Center, Dr. Skaudis and St. Croix Hospice for their wonderful care.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 17, 2024 at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, Grand Rapids, MN beginning at 10 AM lasting until the 11 AM Memorial Service with Full Military Honors.  Rev. David Anderson will officiate.  Burial will be at a later date at Itasca-Calvary Cemetery, Grand Rapids, MN.

Memorials are preferred to St. Andrew's Lutheran Church or Blandin Employees for Life (BEFL) Cancer Fund.
