Kieth Harold Best, age 84, of Cohasset, MN, passed away at his home on Monday, June 5, 2023, after a year long battle with cancer.

Kieth Best was born in 1938 to Harold and Wilma Best in Cohasset, MN, where he grew up and went to school. He enlisted in the U.S. Army on November 3, 1955, and trained at Ft. Smith, AR, spending a year in Ft. Sil, OK. He spent the next 22 months in Germany and was discharged on November 3, 1958. Kieth married Jeanniene Heywood on June 29, 1964, and they made their home in Cohasset. He worked for Nelson Roofing for nearly 30 years, retiring in 1999. Kieth spent his winters plowing driveways, which he enjoyed very much.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Judy Stolley, and Lois Dell; and brother, Lloyd Best. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jeanniene; son, Theron (Laurie); grandson, Skyler (Amanda) Best; granddaughters, Malinda (Nate) Stockwell, Tina (Todd) Burns; five great-grandchildren, Aizen Best, Duke and Ayva Stockwell, Adri and Lissa Burns; and two brothers, Jim (Barb) Best, and Larry (Marlene) Best.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at the Grand Rapids VFW Post 1720 beginning at 3:00 PM.
