Kim D. Perry

Kim Denise Perry, age 69, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at Solvay Hospice in Duluth, MN.

Kim was born in 1957 to Kenneth Morris and Janice Plude in Grand Rapids, MN. She attended school in Grand Rapids and began her lifelong career working in food service, managing the kitchen at the Home Town Café, Richie’s in Marcell, and the Mileage Café. She enjoyed riding motorcycles and hotrod cars, gardening, listening to music and will be remembered as being fiercely independent and a rebel of her own spirit.

Kim is preceded in death by her parents, Janice (John) Lowe and Ken Morris and grandparents, Edward and Coral Plude, whom she was very close to.

She is survived by her son, Brian Perry; daughter, Shana Doust; sister, Lea Morris, brother, Mark Lowe; four grandchildren, Jo Leslie, Alex Marie, Erika Louise, and Madi Jo; and three great-grandchildren, Jerico, Carson, Cameron.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 13, 2026, from 1-3 PM at Rowe Funeral Home, Grand Rapids, MN.
