Lacey Jane Seedorf, age 31, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024, at the University of Minnesota - East Bank Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.

Lacey was born in 1993 to Michael and Teresa King in Grand Rapids, MN. She graduated from Grand Rapids High School in 2011, where she was a cheerleader for the wrestling, and football teams and involved in dance and skating. She attended Bemidji State University and then the University of North Dakota for her master's in early childhood education. Lacey married her high school sweetheart, Axl Seedorf, on July 24, 2021. She knew she wanted to work with kids from a young age. A few places she worked for was Rutger's kids camp, invest early, and recently opened her own daycare. She enjoyed crafting and many DIY projects. She loved spending time with family and was described by those who loved her as kind, bright, and ambitious.

Lacey is preceded in death by her father, Michael; grandpa, Fritz; and many aunts, uncles and grandparents.

She is survived by her husband, Axl; sons, Rhett and Ryder; mother, Teresa (Steve Chandler) King; sister-in-law, Ashley (Brett) Mohler; step-siblings, Hannah (Colt) Johnson, Michael (Nicole) Chandler, and Blake Chandler; grandpa, John Schmidt; grandma, Cheryl Burfeind; aunts, Paula (Steve) Dolney, and Dawn Savage; and many loving family and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 10:00 am at Grand Rapids Evangelical Free Church, followed by the 11:00 am memorial service.
